Bible Verse Prints

So I redesigned the blog. I wanted something simpler so here it is. I hope you like it. I also have a confession to make. I am really bad at reading the Bible. It sits right next to my bed, but I don't read it as often as I should. I don't read it every day. There are probably whole weeks where I don't even pick it up. I wish I read it every day but I fall short. It's not that I don't like reading the Bible, I don't really like reading anything. I am just not that into reading. You know how people always say, "The book was so much better." I am not one of those people because I never read the book so I have nothing to compare it to. The movie was enough of the story for me. If you read, I think that's great. I wish I read more. Really great leaders were always readers so I am trying to get better at it. In an effort to read the Bible more often I want to start creating digital prints based on bible verses. I am often really frustrated with "Christian" art and instead of complaining about it I am just going to create something I think is better, and I hope you do to.

I've been looking at a lot of prints lately and it's been inspiring. It's inspired me to go through the bible and create a print for every verse that really stands out to me. I have two goals for this endeavor: 1. To get better at creating art 2. To read the Bible regularly.

So here is my first print. It's called Genesis 1:1
